Bliss Goldstein has written for newspapers such as The Jewish Bulletin, along with publishing essays in the San Jose Mercury News and the San Francisco Chronicle, where she was a Two-Cents columnist.  She has also published stories in magazines such as Spider and Parents.  She is a founding editor and contributor to Tangents, a literary journal at Stanford University.  In addition to publishing her work, Bliss has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, such as Phil Donahue, sharing her quirky perceptions.

Bliss’s career path is the stuff of detours.  She’s worked as a sales manager for the Gallo Winery, been a partner in a training development firm writing manuals and training trainers, won a national sales presentation contest when she was a stockbroker, and served as a psychiatric assistant in a lock-down mental ward where it amused her to no end that she was the one wearing a white coat and holding a key.

A year ago she started a greeting card company featuring micro-essays she’s written targeted to Baby Boomer women who have just become enlightened grandmothers.  Her card line, BubbeeBliss, can be viewed at
www.bubbeebliss.com And so the detours continue.
